"Brave Raideen" is a TV anime that aired on the NET TV network from April 4, 1975, to March 26, 1976. All 50 episodes.

The Demon Empire, which attacked the Mu Empire 12,000 years ago, has revived in the present day and has begun activities to "complete the age of the demons."
Then, a mysterious major earthquake occurs around the world.

Akira Hibiki, a cheerful boy with a grandfather and father who are archaeologists, hears a mysterious voice immediately after the earthquake that says, "Awake, brave one, Raideen awaits," and is guided to go out to sea by boat. He was investigating the mysterious energy "Mootron" written in ancient Mu documents.

A pyramid appears from the center of the vortex, and a giant golden statue emerges from it. When Akira chants a spell, the statue absorbs Akira and begins to move with vivid colors.
The statue was the giant robot Raideen, created by the ancient Mu Empire to fight against the demons. Akira manages to defeat the demon army by piloting Raideen, but...
Prince Sharkin of the Demon Empire, surprised by the appearance of an unexpected enemy, takes an interest in Raideen.
