This is a VERY old fraternal crest. It is leather and suede. All hand made, hand tooled, hand detailed and hand stitched with careful detail.
You can see that someone took great care in making this crest, it is absolutely a gem and would be perfect for someone belonging to this fraternity, someone who just appreciates the art of the piece or someone who collects fraternal pieces in general.
Frame is original to the piece. The crest has been professionally mounted and is set behind glass surrounded by an ornate gold guided solid wood frame.
It is in excellent condition for its age. Minor wear to frame (gold has a few small areas that may need a tiny touch up). No breaks or repairs.
The crest looks beautiful. It has aged nicely without yellowing, cracking or flaking.
The colors are light green, moss green, medium green, tan, light gold, white, brown, medium brown, tan and grey,
